ASUS ROG 5S Dead BOOT REPAIR
If your ASUS ROG Phone 5 is not booting up, there are several steps you can try to fix the issue:
- Soft reset: Hold the power button for 10 seconds to force the phone to restart. If this does not work, try removing the battery (if possible) for a few minutes and then reinsert it and restart the phone.
- Boot into safe mode: Boot the phone into safe mode by pressing and holding the power button until the power options appear, then tap and hold on the “power off” option until the “Reboot to safe mode” message appears. Safe mode disables third-party apps and can help you determine if a third-party app is causing the problem.
- Wipe cache partition: This will erase temporary system files and can help resolve boot issues. To do this, power off the phone, then press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons until the ROG logo appears. Then release both buttons and immediately press and hold the Volume Down button until the phone enters the Android system recovery menu. From there, navigate to “Wipe cache partition” using the Volume Down button, and select it using the Power button.
- Factory reset: If the above steps do not work, you can try a factory reset. This will erase all data from the phone, so make sure to backup your important data first. To do this, follow the steps to enter the Android system recovery menu as described above, and select “Factory data reset”.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that the problem is hardware-related. In that case, you may need to take your phone to an authorized ASUS repair center for further assistance.
